Graduation is here and we couldn’t be more excited and proud of the graduating class of 2018!! Soon-to-be graduates are anxiously counting down the days until graduation. As of today, the Registrar’s Office reports that over 375 students are academically cleared to participate in Commencement exercises, scheduled for May 10-12.
If you are planning to attend the Baccalaureate and Commencement services at the Von Braun Center, please be advised that there are BRAND NEW Von Braun Center security policies in place that can affect arrival times and attendance on Saturday, May 12, 2018.
- All Von Braun Center guests will now be required pass through metal detectors and a security screening.
- If you exit the arena for any reason, you will have to pass through the security screening a second time.
- Once attendance for the Von Braun Center reaches its capacity, guests will no longer be permitted to enter the arena. This includes anyone who previously had a seat but left the arena for any reason. We are recommending guests arrive two (2) HOURS before the start of each event.
