To address the pressing financial need of students due to the disruption of campus operations as a result of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, the Department of Education (DOE) has made available funds through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. for eligible expenses that include: food, housing, course materials, technology, health care and child care for students enrolled on March 13, 2020 in a program that was not 100% online.
